The LyricTribe artist directory lists every artist whose lyrics we publish, currently more than ten names spanning Hindi film music, Punjabi rap and folk-fusion, Haryanvi hip-hop, and English pop with Indian features. You can reach any of them in two clicks: use the A to Z bar, type into the search box, or scan the most-published rail at the top of the page. Each name opens a full profile with a researched biography, a discography, the artist's most-read lyrics, and credits checked against the official release.

What is on each artist page?

Every artist profile follows the same layout, so you always know where to look. It opens with an answer-first biography that explains who the artist is and why they matter, then a quick-facts panel covering birth details, origin, active years, genres and labels. Below that sit the discography and a ranked list of the songs readers open most. The Ed Sheeran page, for instance, leads with his Arijit Singh collaboration "Sapphire," while the Sidhu Moose Wala page tracks a catalogue that reshaped Punjabi music. Every song link opens the full lyrics with a meaning section, a translation and the production credits.

Which languages and genres does LyricTribe cover?

The catalogue concentrates on four scenes rather than spreading thin across every market. Hindi film music and Punjabi music make up the largest share, with Haryanvi hip-hop and English crossovers filling out the rest. The table below pairs each scene with an example artist you can open right now.

SceneWhat to expectStart with
Hindi film / Bollywood Playback vocals and film scores, with lyrics in Devanagari plus a romanised reading and an English translation Arijit Singh, Ram Sampath
Punjabi Modern rap and folk-fusion, the most-streamed regional lane on the site Karan Aujla, KR$NA
Haryanvi Trap-driven Haryanvi hip-hop built on regional flows Dhanda Nyoliwala
English & crossover Pop and acoustic crossovers, including tracks with Indian features Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande

How do I find a specific artist?

Start with the A to Z bar near the top of the page, which shows how many artists sit under each letter before you click. If you remember part of a name, the search box filters the visible list as you type, so "auj" jumps straight to Karan Aujla. For discovery rather than lookup, the most-published rail surfaces the artists with the deepest catalogues this week, a useful entry point if the site is new to you. One practical tip: producers and composers are filed under their stage name, so look for The Kidd under T, not under his given name.

Frequently asked questions

How many artists are on LyricTribe?

LyricTribe currently lists more than ten artists, with new profiles added most weeks. The number stays deliberately modest because every page is researched and edited by hand before it goes live. The live total appears in the heading at the top of the artist directory and updates as the catalogue grows.

How do I find a specific artist?

There are three routes. Use the A to Z bar to jump to a letter, type a name into the search box at the top of the page, or scan the most-published rail for the artists with the deepest catalogues right now. Each result links straight to that artist's full profile.

What is on each artist page?

Every profile opens with an answer-first biography, then a quick-facts panel covering birth details, origin, active years, genres and labels. Below that sit the discography and a ranked list of the artist's most-read songs, each linking to the full lyrics with meaning, translation and credits.

Which languages and genres does LyricTribe cover?

The catalogue leans into four areas: Hindi film music, Punjabi rap and folk-fusion, Haryanvi hip-hop, and English pop with Indian crossovers. You can also browse the library by genre or by album. New languages are added slowly, and only once an editor can verify the lyrics properly.

Can I request an artist who is not listed yet?

Yes. Send the artist name and a song with an official streaming or YouTube link through the Submit Lyrics page, or email the editorial desk. Reader requests join the priority queue, and artists with verified, high-demand catalogues are usually added within a couple of weeks.

Are the biographies and credits accurate?

Each biography is written from researched sources and read by an editor before publishing, and song credits are cross-checked against the official label upload. Where sources disagree, we use the most recent canonical release. If you spot an error, the Submit Lyrics page lets you flag it.
