Who is Jeet Gannguli?
Jeet Gannguli is an Indian music composer with parallel careers in Hindi and Bengali cinema. In Bollywood his landmark is Aashiqui 2 (2013), where he was the album's principal composer — writing the music for "Chahun Main Ya Naa", "Hum Mar Jayenge", "Aasan Nahin Yahan" and "Milne Hai Mujhse Aayi" among others — and shared the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director with Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari.
He followed it with acclaimed work like "Muskurane" from CityLights (2014), again voiced by Arijit Singh, while remaining one of Bengali film music's most prolific hitmakers.
