Who is Raghav Chaitanya?
Raghav Chaitanya, born in October 1994 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian playback singer prized for a soft, soulful timbre and emotionally immersive delivery. After a degree in computer applications, he moved to Mumbai in 2015 to chase music, and his breakthrough came in 2020 with "Ek Tukda Dhoop" from Thappad — which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer, making him the youngest-ever winner in the category.
Often spoken of as a singer following in the late KK's tradition of romantic playback, he has become a regular voice for composer Pritam. On Mashooqa from Cocktail 2 (2026) he leads the Hindi vocal alongside Italian star Mahmood and Ruaa Kayy.
