Who is Harrdy Sandhu?
Harrdy Sandhu, born Hardevinder Singh Sandhu on 6 September 1986 in Patiala, Punjab, is one of the biggest crossover stars in Punjabi and Hindi pop. He came to music by an unusual route: a promising fast bowler, he played age-group and domestic cricket before a knee injury ended his sporting career and pushed him toward singing.
His breakthrough came with the 2012 single "Soch", and he has since delivered a long run of chart hits including "Joker", "Naah" (with Nora Fatehi), "Kya Baat Ay", "Bijlee Bijlee" and "Titliaan" — soft, melodic, romance-driven Punjabi pop with mass crossover appeal. He has also acted, notably playing cricketer Madan Lal in the acclaimed film 83 (2021).
On Vallah from Cocktail 2 (2026) he shares the mic with Nigerian Afrobeats star Bayanni over a Pritam composition — a high-profile Bollywood-meets-Afrobeats collaboration.
