Meaning of "Vallah"

"Vallah" (also written "wallah") is an Arabic-rooted exclamation — literally "by God" or "I swear to God" — that has long lived in everyday Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi speech as an emphatic "honestly!", "I swear!", or "for real!". In the song it works as a burst of awe and conviction: the feeling so good, the moment so intense, that you swear by it.

True to that, the lyric is less a story than a celebration. It captures the colourful highs and lows of young relationships — deep friendships, complicated love, unforgettable nights and the impulsive decisions that make youth feel limitless.
