A Filmfare Award winner, he is a frequent collaborator of composers Pritam and Amit Trivedi, and his pen sits behind many of the era's most-loved songs, including "Kabira", "Channa Mereya", "Agar Tum Saath Ho", "Gerua" and "Kesariya".
